Looking at this truck. It’s a mega cab and has all the options I want, particularly no console but a seat instead!

Just found out it’s a manufacturer buy back. He shared some docs with me. It does have the 12” screen and air ride. Most of the repair was the air ride and “radio replaced”. It was owned about 18 months and bought back.

Would you run or consider it? What should I look out for it test?

Appreciate the help all!

Here are the specific issues/complaints.

I haven't seen the truck and don't know the miles. But maybe double the depreciation you would expect for a truck of the same age/condition/miles?

It's all subjective. To me, a vehicle I have to take to the dealer 4x/year is not worth owning.

I would say that there is more to that story. Are they including an extended warranty with it?

I personally would not touch it . The fact that they had to buy it back is enough for me to keep looking.

Yeah, I wouldn't touch that. It was bought back for a reason. People don't go through all that trouble for a couple of things that were "fixed".

.

What’s the price? That’s basically my truck I bought two years ago minus the airbags. I paid 62k before fees.

Only $11,000 off the sticker? ....It's 3 model years old... going on 4.

Along with the laundry list of problems that they claim to have fixed, the repair that stands out is that radio has been replaced twice. There has been 3 radios in it so far...what's causing that?

Not only would I stay away from that due to the issues it might give you, but you also have to look at when you want to sell it yourself. You will be taking a HUGE hit for all of that plus depreciation. I would buy it for maybe half of what they are offering.

Good deal. Thanks all. I’m passing on this. Will keep shopping what’s available!

Appreciate everyone’s input.
