'19-22' Ram leveling kit help

Cjc recommends the +18 offset on 18x9 wheels. So im going to give it a shot and hope it works

Those wheels are way off from the recommended offset. Even 0 offset wheels require significant trimming for 37’s.
 
I am more than a little bit confused on what I should run to replace the wheels/tires coming on my 2022 3500 HO 6.7 CCLB SRW 4WD NIght Edition.
It comes with 20"x8" Black Painted Aluminum wheels with LT285/60R20E. I'm going to keep the black wheels. I wanted black wheels and since the NE comes with them I see no point in paying for a new set of black wheels. Unless their weight capacity is low..though I'll assume they aren't much different than any after-market wheels given the platform. From everything I've read..those Firestone tires are total junk. I've always had good luck with BFGs..except one set which only lasted about 30K. Every other set lasted 45-50K. Had one set of Toyos that were really loud. Never again. Keep in mind I'm pulling a 37' 5th Wheel Toyhauler. I want to change the look to the truck as far as more stout-looking tires, and level the truck within reason. I have the rear air suspension.

The rating on the wheels and tires has to follow suit with the weight the truck is rated for, so i wouldnt worry about that part.

I have heard people getting more longevity out of Nitto’s over Toyo’s but i think that is also case by case. Thats why I mentioned Nitto’s in my original post. Im gonna stick to those.

Any suggestion though on slight tire size change to make the truck look a bit more stout? And which kit for a mild leveling of the truck?

You can run a 35" tire (or 295/65r20), with no leveling kit and not rub.

In terms of leveling kit, you have cheap (spacers) or expensive (coils). Both Carli & Thuren offer good kits for coil. Coil Spacer kits are mostly the same.
 
I have yet to see anyone running the 37x11.5 tires. I wanted someone else to be the first, but when I get mine I was hoping even with stock wheels/offset this could be done. With the +18 maybe there would be very little trimming.

I would if they existed in 18's. Nitto makes one tire in an 18, thats it. I wish there was more options, because there is a pretty significant weight difference between an 11.50 versus 12.50/13.50
 
Tires look interesting but they're D rated...I wouldn't put D rated tires on a 3500...

Do you understand load rating? …. At 3860LBS rating they surpass most E rated tires of the oem size…. And unless you have a dually im pretty sure all 3500s max out at 7k axle rating so that would put the tires past the axles cap

So even then the tires doubled up per side will surpass your axle capacity….. the C,D,E only count for ply counts which has become an outdated system as they make tire belts with different materials and strengths now the load rating is all that maters as such most oem sized E rated tires have a 125 load index where these are sitting at 127
 
Tall and skinny can handle plenty……..might not have as good a ride or road manners as a 12.5 due to proportions.

Thanks for the info.....I've already got E rated Toyo Open Country M/T's in 35" x 12.50 sitting in my garage was following this thread for a leveling kit.....had a carli on order for a long time and finally cancelled it a few days ago when they couldn't give me a projected shipping date..... now I'm back to square 1 on what to get.......I'll probably go ahead and mount the tires on my stock wheels (Night Edition 17's) after I pick up some spacers for the rear since I really don't need a leveling kit to run 35's....
 
On the 22nd I’m installing a Thuren 1 inch kit on my tradesman 2500 with there front and rear track bar. I bought some big horn 18’s I powder coated black, I’m going to buy stock size nitto ridge grapplers for them or move up to a 285/70r18. I feel
Like performance is better staying close to stock. I work my truck
 
I pulled the trigger on these today, after i sell my stocks and get my bonus points for the credit card i used (only used it for the introductory offer) ill be in at around $3,300 - $3,500 USD.

Hopefully all goes well.
