That’s the piece that plugs into the bumper port.I stand corrected. @Jimmy07 is it the end of the cable that connects to that adapter that we can't source, or has it all been figured out at this point? I'd love to make a shorter cable for my trailer DRVM camera but I was under the assumption that I couldn't.

The end that screws into the adapter plug is a coax connector, maybe TNCUnderstood - is it possible to get/make a shorter cable that goes from the bumper port to the camera? Camera end is Fakra, but I thought the other end that connects to that adapter was unobtainium.

Thanks for this part numberGreat part to add to the sticky.
It's a RP-TNC, and I found a RP-TNC to fakra cable on amazon available in various lengths:The end that screws into the adapter plug is a coax connector, maybe TNC
Question, is that the same as the 360 view? Also did you add the cameras on the side mirrors? If so could you possibly help me. I want to add this to my 24.No, it’s just the BCM configuration.
I found this out by accident when I was installing a 2022 BCM in my truck to add trailer surround view. Since AlfaOBD doesn’t have the settings, I was using wiTECH to restore VIN configurations to the new BCM. The first one I used was a random newer VIN that just had regular surround view, and the trailer surround soft key didn’t show up. Then I used an older 2022 vin with regular surround view but no trailer surround, and the soft key showed up.
I am messing around with AlfaOBD now but i do not see any TSVCM optionI got my gateway in. So naturally, the first thing I do is open it up.

Looks like it uses a SPC58 family processor, (I'm not familiar with that one) a TPIC74100 switching regulator, and a couple of TJA1046 CAN drivers. Other than that, there's some filtering going on with the CAN and the power supply. But I'm not seeing too much else. Overall a pretty simple board.
Now for the good news. Once this was put back together and connected, my 360 trailer camera system was immediately recognized and worked as expected!

So to recap, the 360 trailer camera system will work with a 2023. You'll need to use AlfaOBD to configure the "TSVCM Trailer Surround View Camera Module" option. (With Android I had to use a beta version to support the 2023 ECU). You also will have to add a 68509331AB gateway module. This module could be secured with zip-ties, but I plan to procure and mount to the factory bracket (04896196AA) using 3 pins (06504521).

Edit 5/16/23 - While my 2023 Limited 2500 did not come with the gateway module, it looks like some might have one already. (See https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...railer-surround-view-camera.13102/post-262321). So probably worth checking before ordering one.

I know this thread is a little older, but I have been on a quest for this exact solution. I will have to check to see if i have the gateway installed. Since I ordered the trailer camera prep package in my 2023 I wonder if that is what gets the gateway installed?Sorry about that. Hopefully you can return (or resale) it without loosing too much money. I've added a note to my post above to indicate that some 2023 may come with the module.
But the good news is that it's working for you. As far as I've seen, yours is only the 2nd 2023 reported to have functioning 360 trailer surround cameras.
The cameras are not compatible that way. You'll have to get a new camera.I had the digital mirror and single coax camera on my 22 3500 ( worked great )and have since traded to a 24 2500 without the digital rear view mirror but has surround and trailer tow. Any thoughts on converting the coax connector to the 12 pin connector and using an aux on the 12" screen.
Thanks I thought so. only need one camera on the back of the camper and don't want to purchase the surround. I would like connect an aux camera to the 12 pin in the bed or bumper I have. The cameras are not compatible that way. You'll have to get a new camera.

Thanks I have sifted through most everything. I'll just keep with the wireless and an external screen that came with my camper.AUX2 is analog. You just need to source a 12-pin umbilical and wire up your choice of camera, or go check out the Infotainment wireless option that plugs into the 12-pin.
There's a couple options that have been discussed here at length, I don't have time to go find all the info right now.
Do you have a link to the infotainment wireless option? I can't find it on their site.AUX2 is analog. You just need to source a 12-pin umbilical and wire up your choice of camera, or go check out the Infotainment wireless option that plugs into the 12-pin.
