they are the stock running boards straight ordered from ram. Not sure of part number. this is from the window sticker Chrome Flat Cab–Length Side Steps
here you go, unfortunately the heaviest thing i haul is my ass and cases of beer. the fifth wheel i was going to purchase wont fit in my driveway so i am going a different direction but keeping the truck.
I live in Pa. but called all around the country. Even with flying in if i can save thousands it is worth it. What i found were a bunch of deals but they all had prequalifiers ( military, first time, ) and a bunch of others that couldnt be applied. so i dealt locally.
i have the standard cummins and the 373 gearing so maybe thats why. Payload is 5500 but my guide claims max trailer tow is 19800. A rv dealer said you subtract the 5500 off the max towing so i could go to 24K but i am not believing what he is saying.
Recently purchased 2019 ram 3500 dually diesel. 19800 towing capacity with 5500 bed capacity. In the next 3-4 weeks will be purchasing a 16k-19K loaded 5th wheel. Looking at so many options on hitches just would like to hear opinions on which is best. Is one brand quieter towing, less jerking...

I have a similar rattle, traced it to the passenger seat belt, i have a 2019 3500 dully, when i hit a bump the fastener for the belt just bounces off the plastic. I sometimes just close the belt on the passenger side
Lets be honest, newbie here but calling the 3500 with 850 torques a light weight is funny. so it can only pull a house down with its power versus pulling down a sky scraper. It still is a damn heavy duty truck!
