I also definitely recommend buying a cheap radio first to see what features you like/need/use before dropping big cash on one. And those midland ones are crazy pricey

As for the road spray, on all the holes into my bed, I used gorilla tape from the under side to cover the holes and flex seal on the inside to seal them all. I have a contractor cap that is a slow camper conversion lol got to keep that dust out...
Thats the million dollar question. I am trying to figure that out as well, I want to add a front camera. The issue I am running into is finding a switch that will work with these cameras or the stock camera and a regular camera. They dont seem to exist or you have to spend $1000

Also that link is for the kit including the camera, if you reuse the camera in your tail gate it is way cheaper. Its $154 without the camera.

Its typically something to do with the harness in the tail gate I have found. I have had this on 2 different rams over the years, try slamming the tail gate hard. That worked on them both. It also went away for both when I removed my tailgate to use a contactor canopy and relocating the camera...
