My 23 is going to the shop tomorrow for this same tick. Mine only happens after the engine gets up to temp, & only at high idle. Cold starts sound fine at both low & high idle.
So do you have both solenoid shut off valve & pump wired to the same switch? I was wondering if this was possible, gravity feed & messing with that manual valve is getting tedious.
I've put my stock 23 2500 to work hauling RVs & been wondering about this myself. As far as I know, Randys & ATS are the 2 who offer a VB without tuning. Although ATS suggests using there "copilot" with there VB. I haven't really found any solid reviews on either one (without tuning), good or...
I was told the same, rear main seal leaking. turns out it is residue from an anti corrosion. someone posted something in here about it from Mopar awhile back. I sprayed it down with brake cleaner & no more rear main leak. :)
As for the shaft leaking, join the club :(
Has anyone tried or know if this place is legit? I'm getting that "I dunno" vibe.

I may have been wrong about the new part number. But here is the invoice I found. Hope it helps.
BTW, I checked the seal out again before I left work, it's damp again. Not dripping wet but damp.
I have the receipt at home, it might be on there. I'll check when I get back there at the end of the month. However I do remember it wasn't the typical Mopar number with the AA or AB, just a number.
Mine was completely soaked like that as well.
After using four cans of brake cleaner clean up, & A little bit. Of time, We found the rear output shaft seal was the culprit.
I replaced it myself with a new seal under the old part number. After about a month it started leaking again.
The local...
If I'm understanding this correctly, in order to tune the TCM, it'll have to go through the ECM. I have a 2023, with a locked ECM. That may be why Revmax didn't have anything listed for 22 or 23.
ATI wants to sell a "copilot" to replace TCM tuning.
Unless there are other options out there...
Has anyone had any good or bad luck with Randy's?
I'm looking at the "Baby maker 2000 PlanB" valve body for my 23 2500.
They said this does not require trans tuning for the 22+ trucks.
ATI seems to have had issues, with there co pilot, i'm not sure.
Revmax says I need to get tuned.
I'd like...
Is your case wet? As in like the fluid had been leaking down the side of the case.
My case was also wet, I used a couple of cans of parts cleaner on it, fingers crossed it stays dry.
Same here, Dealer was cool with me taking it, that was a month ago. I have no idea how long mine was leaking so I topped it off at that time, was about 1/2 to 3/4 of a qt low. Dealer pushed the availability back to late November so I borrowed some tools from the shop guys here at work & replaced...
I agree, I found & purchased the OEM part from one of the OEM parts stores online. Had it in hand within a few days, took it to the dealer & was told they could not use it. Said it has to come from there warranty parts warehouse.
