This was a couple of weeks ago.
We’re moving and having a house built on some land. Our Tuff Shed has already moved with us once and we decided to drag it along one more time:
Interesting…that means something like a Big Horn or Laramie could be right around 3K.
Not gonna lie, that makes holding off on upgrading a little harder. A 2500 Megacab with decent payload is very tempting.
I just picked up this kit for my wife’s Ecodiesel Jeep:

It’s the best deal going right now IMO as it includes a ZF branded filter/pan, all new pan bolts, new fill plug and fluid. With their recent...
I think this has been mentioned with the ‘25’s before. I recall there being a harness or connector loose on the ABS module or something of that nature.
You can check to see if all the fuses and relays are seated. That seems to be a common issue across 4.5 gen trucks.
I tossed a set on back in February. I drive a fair amount of miles for work, so I’m coming up on a couple thousand miles with them already.
I’ve been 100% happy with them on the road so far. Rain, snow, slush, dry performance has been fantastic, of course almost anything is better than the...
Pretty sure there’s no difference in suspension between a Rebel and non-Rebel 2500.
Now if the non-Rebel truck is equipped with the optional rear air suspension that could change things. Some folks say air suspension trucks ride smoother than coil spring 2500’s.
I wound up picking up a set of the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent’s from Costco a couple weeks ago. Ended up a little over $1300 out the door in the stock 275/70/18 size.
I’ve got a couple hundred miles on them and so far I’m impressed. Zero change in fuel economy, super quiet and smooth ride.
I...
Will do.
I drive a fair amount of miles for work (1200 or so per month) in a variety of conditions. I get a little picky with tires as a result.
I took a bit of a chance on these as they’re relatively new and there’s not really a ton of reviews out there on them. I’ve got a set of Dueler Revo...
After 18 months and 25K miles I had finally had enough of the factory Transforce HTs.
Opted for the new Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascent. Costco had them on sale this month, which made them $150 cheaper than anywhere else.
Got about 100 miles on them so far and I’m really digging them. Super quiet...
Did they change recently or are differences based on where you’re located?
Costco here (Utah) sells Interstate with a straight 3 year free replacement warranty. In fact I haven’t seen a battery with a warranty prorate in a very long time, pretty much all manufacturers have seemed to move away...
I’m strongly considering the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent here in a few weeks. It’s not the most aggressive A/T type tire, but the majority of what I do is on road.
It replaces the Dueler Revo 3, which I’ve had a set on my wife’s Jeep for a couple of years now and have been extremely happy with.
I ordered mine through the estore. The ship to dealer option is at the very end of check out just before you enter payment information. It’s a small check box and easy to miss.
Anyway, it took like 6 or 7 weeks for mine to get in as it was on backorder at the time.
I dropped my truck off last Friday, Saturday morning they called and let me know it was ready for pick up.
Sounds like the passenger battery had a bad cell and was dragging the other one down, particularly when the grid heater ran.
They replaced the passenger battery under warranty.
Normally...
Swapped over to the PW/Rebel valance last night. Took about 30-45 minutes total.
Like others mentioned the 2 nuts right next to the intercooler were kind of a PITA. Also removing the 2 plastic rivets on the underside of the valance was a little tricky.
My son is going to use his 3D printer to...
Part number 68618777AA.
If you order through the Mopar eStore and have it shipped/will called to your local dealer it should be around $60 plus tax. If you try to have it shipped to your house you’ll get quoted something ridiculous like $200 for shipping since it’s an odd shape/size.
It should...
Had to jump my truck again this morning.
Previously if it sat for a couple of days or more it would need to be jumped. This time it had just been sitting overnight.
Made an appointment to drop it off at the dealer since I’m only a little over a year since purchase. Maybe this next set of...
Mine finally showed up today. Had a couple of minutes this afternoon so I swung by and picked it up already.
I should be able to get it tossed on in the next day or two before I drop the truck off at the dealer this Saturday to get the batteries replaced, had to jump the truck the last couple...
Glad it’s not just me.
Yesterday went to remote start the truck, cold temps so grid heater will cycle at start up. Didn’t hear the start so I tried again via remote start and heard the ‘click’.
Went out to the truck, figured maybe something was up with the fob so tried to manually start and...
I bought a PortfolioOne extended warranty from the dealer we bought my wife’s Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel from a few years ago.
It was a full coverage deal for 3 years and unlimited miles. I think we paid around $1200 for it.
The reason I picked it up is because I noticed the steering rack was...
