My wife bought me the Tuffy console for my 23. It has the key set up. The sliding tray still goes all the way back. I'm happy with it. I leave the keys in the center console until I lock something in it, then they come with me.
If you stop at the big rig places (like love's) and you aren't using a fleet card, you will be paying a premium. Typically, I see a $0.30-0.80 per gallon savings with my card. When you have 38ft of trailer behind you, consumer pumps suck to deal with.
If it's just you in the truck, just stop...
Look in to the Open Roads fleet card. Allows you to use the big rig lanes and gets you a discount on fuel. It's mainly used by RV'ers but works lots of places.
I started getting this recently too. Figured my level was just on borderline and my driveway is steep and I park backed in so the nose is down. It goes away before I'm at the top of my street so I haven't worried about it.
Yes, there is a separate quick connect for DC to DC. I ran 6awg cable (should have used 4awg but I had the 6 on hand) from the battery to the rear bumper and have an Anderson connector. Then, the DC to DC charger is mounted in the camper. I have 6awg with an Anderson on it going from the tongue...
I've had them on since August. They are great. Fronts were a bit more difficult to put on just due to lack of space but not bad. The rear took maybe 10 min to get both installed.
Definitely a good upgrade.
I put the 5100's on my stock 23 3500. Was a great choice. Definitely firm but in a good way. My wife even noticed how it rode better on certain sections of highway. Wish I had done it before our summer trip but super happy with them.
Plus, I know this is vain, they look better on my night...
Fair enough. I have the XS in my trailer Plus 1200w of solar with the multiplus 12/3000 2x120. Looking back, I wish I had done the quattro. It would have come in handy a few times but overall I'm happy. I could add another 800w of solar but that would require me to run another string of wire...
Why not a DC to DC? Victron can support dual voltage systems with the 1400. https://www.victronenergy.com/dc-dc-converters/orion-xs-dc-dc-battery-chargers.
I'm running the XS in my trailer. Ran cable to the back of the truck and put an Andersson connector.
I get the thoughts but I think the...
I got one of these for the passenger side for my wife. So good that I got a second for the driver's side. Totally worth it. Looks like it is OEM.

If you want to charge your batteries while driving, DC-DC is the way to go. I have the Victron XS 50A in my trailer. Just ran the wires from the battery spots to the back of the truck and use an Anderson connector. Has an auto sense so it just turns on automatically.
I went S&B just because it was cheaper than the Titan. I had issues with the 31gal tank at the truck stops. The S&B acts the same for me. I just put it on the slow setting and let it go. Still goes pretty quick and when you have 40' if trailer behind you, it sure beats dealing with anything...
I'm in the north Denver area. Not willing to ship. Just swapped out to the S&B 52gal. Have the locking ring for it and everything is still good. No pump. Came out of my 2023 with 13k miles.
It's free so I can get it out of my garage.
