I had a shop in Appleton Wisconsin diagnosis and fix my problem - frayed wiring in my front axle tube they did replace wiring in both axles. After reading numerous posts, I agree that the OEM brake controller is best.
Thanks for your advice.
I've read Tom2531s posts and my system indicates a short. I've replaced the connector with the Pollack 12-706 (which does fit a lot better), I've connected and seen the message that the trailer is connected and had the wife watch for check and disconnected warnings while I jiggled the wiring...
I appreciate the time and effort you took to create this post I will be studying your description of indicator cycles again. I bought a new connector, I'll probably try that first but then I'll have to pull the drums if that doesn't work.
I have a 2022 6.4 hemi with 25,000 miles on it now. I rarely hear the tick anymore. I use the Penzoil 0w-40 and 89 octane gas. I didn't think the engine ran well until about 18,000 miles. There are lots of videos about lifter design in this engine, keep your idle time down. I still wonder...
2022 2500 delivered May, 2022. 19.1K miles, 11.8K miles towing my 11K pound 5er.
On my 4th oil change (using the Pennzoil 0w-40 marked MS-A0921). Consumption has dropped from 0.7 quarts per thousand to 0.3 quarts per thousand. I used 87 octane gas for the first 10K miles but now use 89...
I've been running 87 octane in my 2022 2500 6.4L 410 axle for about 10K miles. I recently switched to 89 it runs and sounds so much better I'm going to keep buying it. And I do try to buy top tier gasoline. I mostly use the truck to tow an 11k gvw 5th wheel
My truck is a 2022 RAM 2500 Big Horn level C equipment package. Uconnect 5 8.4 inch, no memory seats.
The dealer opened a STAR case for the preset issue but I don't think there has been any over the air update.
This has been my experience and no one at RAM or SiriusXM has helped determine...
