I was able to take my truck in for this. As expected, the dealer couldn't reproduce it at first without a load on the back. They did do a TCM update.
I picked up the trailer yesterday and found that the TCM udpate didn't help at all. I was able to get back down to the dealer with the trailer in...
I’m still having the issue I originally reported BUT I did find a partial workaround.
If the next turn stops displaying, you can almost always get it back by turning the main screen off and then right back on. I’ll lower music for like one second and then my next turn shows up correctly.
Sorry - my language wasn’t accurate.
To clarify, I monitor regen status with OBDLink so know when Regen is active. What I meant is that it only regens around the 24 hour mark. It’s never gone into a soot-load based regen outside of that schedule.
With the 25 I've actually seen less correlation between passive regen (DPF guage going down) and longer drives / driving under load. It's almost like it doens't care howe we drive... I generally see the guage go up/down alsmost randomly through the 24 hour period. I've seen it climb on long...
Ok, I’m going to plan to discuss it with them when I go in, likely in the next month. There might be a software update for the tranny. I’ll report back here… please do the same!
I will say I can avoid it by being gentle on the throttle until in 2nd.
No, I haven’t. I’m not 100% sure if it’s coming from the tranny vs sound at the hitch or something. Maybe that’s hopeful thinking. Yours is just as I described?
I tried to capture the sound on my phone but it doesn’t come through at all.
Agreed. I'm not always watching it but I've never noticed a high temp like that outside of an active regen. I'm just using my phone with OBDLink to monitor so it's not always open.
I'm happy to report that I'm coming up on 5,000 miles and I've only had 24-hour scheduled regens. I'm probably a good stress test... between RV trips, this is my daily driver. Unfortunately, I've been forced to idle longer waiting for my kid at school pickup and such. It's not ideal but the...
Interesting, I'll have to check that! I've found the truck gauge to be accurate but it is annoying that Miles To Empty switches to LOW after I think maybe 50 or 30 miles remaining.
I'm not sure I can add much but I'll say this is 100% wrong.
I have a Z Air 295, towing with a 2500. It pulls great, smooth ride. I have the Weigh Safe WD system though I've towed short distances without the bars and it's been ok.
Had the same issue with ios 26 beta... fix is turning off auto zoom which I assume that video shows... you just have to disable it on anoher vehicle since you can't get into the settings if the view isn't working.
