So, want to give a short review of my ne Nitto Recon Grapplers after driving over 500 miles on them the last couple of weeks. I will preface that this is on-road between city driving and highway miles. All I can say is wow so far! I have been a KO2 guy for over 20 years and have had Trail...
Yes, the beadlock was not causing the weights to throw, installer error probably played a part (however in less than a month I had 3 separate shops balance)?!? I think the real problem may have been vibration from the KO2’s. I’ve owned many true beadlocks over the last 30 years and never had...
1. They do not my friend. I was scared my truck wasn’t going to clear my carport and ended up clearing by literally 1/16”. Now doesn’t clear because I went with the 2” spring. I digress!?!?
2. Affirmative. It really didn’t lower it that much at all to my eyes!?! Never put a tape measure to it...
Man, night and day!?!? These tires are the real deal! Very responsive, almost like a sports car, very quiet, smooth as glass. Very impressed! Had some Trail Grapplers on a tricked out Taco I used to own and they were okay but the Recon’s are very nice!

Interesting because I’ve never bought anything other than BFG’s “save for a pair of Ridge Grapplers I thought were meh at best” for almost 40 years and I’ve never had any issues with them. Not saying it “won’t happen” but I’ll wait and see.
Here she is with new shoes and flares. Think I’m dropping in 2” springs in front now and be done with it.
Well kind of…Stage 2 Thuren Kings are being built!

Greetings all! First post as I always like to be able to contribute first when introducing myself to a new forum. Hopefully I’ll be able to bring something to the table during my build?!?
