Mine does this also at any outside temp (Diesel 6.7). It feels like it does not want to go out of first gear and the engine roars. But, when I get on the road and accelerate, it goes away and shifts out fine.

I found the reason for the noise today. It is the fan blade shroud. You can push on the outside of the shroud next to the metal bracket and the noise will go away. There is a vibration in the shroud causing the rattle. I am not sure how to fix it yet but at least I know it is not the fan clutch...
I am thinking about just purchasing an aftermarket fan clutch and installing it or having someone install it. The Mopar one is back ordered indefinitely!

Well… after an apparent replacement by the dealership the fan is making the same noise again. Either nothing was done the first time or the second one needs replaced?
