Still loving the new LTD, so much so I finally let go of my old 2015. Sold my 2015 a couple weeks ago, that 2015 had been my all time favorite truck ever, owned it for nearly a decade that’s about twice as long as I owned any other vehicle.
If all your after is rails. Backrack has some rails that you can get.
They look like these. You can buy the rails without the rack.
These are sold in a modular format, You can buy the rack then add rails or whatever configuration you want.
Here is a link...
Thanks !
The Headache rack and rails are all one piece. They were made by company in Texas that has since gone out of business not really sure how many years ago.
The smaller rack on the back of the Ranger Raptor was the last one I had them make back in 2016, I had it built for a Diesel...
Browser.
‘Safari and tried explorer from my office.
Everthing on my end was the same as when I posted pics a few weeks ago.
‘Same pics I can’t post now do to error or size.
‘Which I was able to screen shot and post multiple pics I had been trying to post , only in a smaller size.
‘I am...
Here is the measured heights.
Before / 100% stock.
After / with 1” Thuren soft coil level kit on the front.
Rear std height/ normal height air bag setting.
Alternate ride/airbag height/ or bed drop mode.
That seemed to work.
Not sure why that process is now neccisary when it wasn’t a couple weeks ago.
I just tried to re-post a pic that I easily and successfully posted a few weeks.
‘Now it kicks it out for being to large. Something has changed.
Yea, I was using the same phone that I had posted the pics earlier in that same thread I had linked here, and I had no issues at all posting those pics.
Just now getting that error message over the past couple of days. I know most forums have an automated resizing process running.
I remember...
I had no issues with posting pics a few weeks ago.
Seem something has changed. All my pics kick out as too large.
Most forums now days auto resize to whatever is appropriate, I also tried to link in pics that I posted off site.
Still no luck.
Is this something permanent?
Admin please advise...
The admin must have changed something. I uploaded pics on here just fine a few weeks ago.
Now they all say to large, so I tried linking from the Cummins forum nope not allowing those either.
Tried to cut and past as well.
They show up when creating the post then when I post it they X out.
I have almost the same setup on my 2015 Ram 2500, only I had Kings and rear coils on that truck.
This new truck has Fox and factory rear air so no rear soft coils on the 2023 Truck.
The 2023 does ride and drive better than stock. Not as smooth as the 2015 with soft coils up front and mid...
Watched it tis morning.
Seems they made a pretty significant effort to cover the Cummins and the future of the ZF8 story, they flew Kase and Andre to Germany for it.
Seems pretty legit at this point .
Anyone have the dates for the launch of the updated 2025 models?
I keep hearing later this...
It's hell getting old, memory not as good as it use to be I guess.
I was thinking my 2015 had 2" front coils and 1" rear. But apparently not.
I pulled my old invoice from 5 years ago to refresh my memory of what all I did that 2015 truck.
I guess based on the invoice I did the 1" front coils...
I actually don't mind that the RAM HD is still using the same cabs.
I am pretty excited about the ZF8, I sure hope that happens.
I replaced my 5th Gen TRX with my new 4.5 gen 2500 LTD last month and also still have my 2015 2500 Laramie.
I really prefer the seating position in my 4th gen HD...
I agree 100%, my 23 2500 shifts a lot smoother then my 2015 2500.
Really pretty happy with my 23 so far anyway.
That said I am still very interested in learning more about these new 2025 models with the ZF8.
I am curious if all the models are getting the ZF8 including the cab and chassis...
I ordered my suspension from CJC Off-Road for the new 2023 Ram 2500 LTD with factory air ride yesterday.
I will report back with pics and review once installed.
Goals were minimal lift as possible.
Smoothest ride as possible
Still maintain 100% towing capacity.
Improve the steering stability as...
