My experience with the Newer CVPM (2022+) into a 2021 that already had surround cameras.. THe “top view” is a synthetic image, once all the other cameras are calibrated (using AlfaOBD). However, I had to calibrate the cameras individually, and I had to be in an area with really good “parallel”...
I'll give it a shot. It's not from the fob unfortunately- it's from the 1 and 2 buttons on the drivers door. We're different heights...so when we switch to the saved settings, Uconnect goes all wonky for a while.
Does anyone know how to code out “driver profiles”? It’s annoying as frick for the UConnect to reprogram itself if you use the 1 or 2 seat buttons (memory seat feature that ties into Uconnect5)
I did all this on my 2021... and it worked...intermittently at best. Just don't waste the money. Buy some half ass thing off Anyzon, and it'll save you a ton of time, money, and effort.
Okay, what adhesive did you use? I’ve tried Permatex Black weatherstrip adhesive and 3M weatherstrip adhesive. Both of them refuse to stick to the “old” boot.
The thing that makes no sense is even when I unhook the trailer. It says trailer number one connected.
And I don't have any funny adapters or anything else hooked to a plug.
Oh, and if I disconnect the trailer plug, going to the rest stop use the restroom. Spend about 10 minutes. Come back out start the truck and in the dashboard pages for trailers. It still tells me the trailer one is connected. Which makes no sense is it is physically not connected.
In case anybody is interested, I unhooked the trailer last night got up this morning plugged in the trailer. It tells me on uconnect that trailer one is connected. Not a big deal. I go driving and it tells me that tire sensors don't match the trailer. Next stop a couple hours down the road. I...
I just wish I knew how the system interacted between the trailer module, the you connect, the body control, module, etc. Of course, if we knew that I meant maybe their software engineers could fix it
I do not understand how this system works. I switched trailer names in the Uconnect menu drove the trailer around the block and it picked up all four wheel sensors. I did not unplug the trailer just left and came back an hour later, and none of the sensors read on the display. I've tried...
Weirdly enough - I built a "TTPMS receiver" extension cord, using Deutsch connectors that match the receiver/truck ... and I was able to pair the sensors in minutes... and then I removed the extension, put the receiver back where it belongs...and it works just fine.
And then - after...
For now - I'm sure in future versions - it'll use Generative AI to specifically tailor content to where you drive, park, stop, go, gas, eat....
Or, you can pull out the radio, and and disconnect the cellular modem.
So in my 2021 - I had TTPMS working under Uconnect4. When I modded to Uconnect5, got all the cameras working, and installed the bumper sensor 68526635AB. Tried to pair the trailer tires - got 2 wheels to pair, then failed (2 axle, 4 tire trailer). Haven't been able to get a single tire to...
That would definitely cause you problems. I suspect what the visual processor is looking for is for change in the visual field, and not seeing change when it knows the dimensions of the field causes it to error out.
