Reinstall the hose with new worm drive clamps (OEM squeeze style clamps never work when reused) and change the expansion tank cap. Cap shouldn’t be allowing more than 21 PSI in the system without venting pressure.
Is the spout on the radiator ok?
I don’t think the 3500 costs much more but it would certainly give you a better ceiling for hauling seeing as it has regular leaf springs and not inboard coil springs like the 2500.
“Beat you to death” is subjective IMO. Personally I like a truck to feel like a truck and don’t mind a bit of a...
I'll echo here saying you'd be just fine in the Ram. My PW pulls 10k in the dump trailer just fine. As @AH64ID says its just slower than the diesel but I don't really care. I've got bags to help level things out with the dump trailer but I'm assuming you'll probably have some sort of WDH...
Yup. We get really heavy/slick snow around here at times. Took the PW up a hill I knew had quite a bit on it and stopped on purpose. Even with studded snow tires it took 4 low and both lockers to start moving up again :p.
I drove in one of those one time and swore never again. Didn't damage anything but it was extremely close. The super hard part is the truck wasn't maneuverable enough to make the tight corners without a 2-3 point try. Never again.
Here's the link for the airbag kit I used - I searched using my truck but yours should be the same (verify first). Also just noticed they say now they can be run with 0 PSI in them.

And here is a link to the cradles...
Sorry for not clarifying. I can look up the part number later but Airlift has a lot of bags that has internal bump stops. The directions still say to maintain 5 PSI in them but I don’t see a point.
Daystar Cradles are more something PW owners get worrying about suspension travel. Normally the...
I thought of that but since I wanted to run without the valve cores in 98 percent of the time I wanted them shielded from road grime and water. It sucked getting them mounted in the Ramboxes but I like them there
I run Airlift bags over Daystar cradles on my PW. I carry an ARB dual compressor kit and usually run the bags without valves in the lines. Lines routed into my Ramboxes so moisture/debris stays out. It’s easy enough to screw in a couple valves and inflate when needed. I haven’t noticed any...
Got me. In the 26 build it is a selectable standalone option. In the 25 build it is part of the PW Level 1 Equipment Group. So it seems at least for a couple build cycles they weren't standard issue.
Repeated failures like that scream for additional diag - though the fact that you used an OEM one this time is a good thing. Many aftermarket remans are not up to snuff. OEM supplier companies like Denso can be an exception but you typically pay a premium for them.
Glad its working for now.
