So did all of the machine work on the rest of the shocks. Installed the schrader valves with a dab of blue locktight. They are sitting under pressure now to see if they leak.
Ordered oil and rebuild kits from Summit racing. Should be here tomorrow.
Got some more parts in today
Regulator with a 600 PSI gauge and hose.
300 PSI gauge to replace the 600 one .
No loss air chuck for filling.
Just need a couple of adapters and a on/off valve for the chuck.
8. Next you need to remove the Internal Floating Piston. Place the shock body right side up on top of a thick towel or folded rag. This is to keep from damaging the piston.
9. Use a air hose with about 80 PSI and a air nozzle. Put the nozzle in the charge port , hold the shock body tight, and...
4. You will see the bottom seal piston. Push it down into the body far enough so you can remove the retaining ring with a pick. Save the retaining ring.
5. I put a large round screwdriver in the bolt eyelet and used a small hammer to tap up on it till the seal piston pops out of the body.

Ok, here is the teardown of the Fox 2.0 IFP shocks.
1. Take a allen wrench and loosen the charge screw till you hear the pressure escaping. DO NOT unscrew it all the way till ALL of the pressure is released
2. Make you a shock clamp if you don't have one. 2x8 board. Drilled a 2" hole in it...
If you don't tell them not to, they will. Some places will argue that they have to for legal/insurance reasons.
I had one shop tell me they could not mount the tires they just sold be because they were not "rated" for my truck. I tried to tell them that at full inflation, they could carry more...
While I have a 21 PW, not a 25, I had that issue as well till I got AlphaOBD and changed it. I changed out tires at 200 miles to 35s. Run 35/30 and it rides nice.
I had my truck weighed empty, 7300 lbs.
My tires are rated at 3000 lbs each at 50 PSI. That's 12000 lbs total. Ain't no way the...
Got 108K miles on my PW and no issues. Been running 35s since 200 miles. But changing suspension parts may cause issues, depending on how well made they are
YMMV
1. Is it just a lift?
2. Or does it actually change the suspension geometry and give you more suspension travel?
3. If you are lifting it for bigger tires, how much lift do you actually need for the bigger tires?
For the cost you said, I doubt it's #2.
And I bet you could get away with less...
MSRP sticker was$72K, ordered the way I wanted it. I paid $62 K for the truck. No dealer mark ups. No dealer add ons. They tried charging me for their tracking system. Told them to take it off as my specific instructions when I ordered it was they were to add nothing to it, or I would walk. They...
I paid $700 over invoice. Which wound up being about 10 grand lower than MSRP when I ordered my truck. When I went to pick it up and pay for it, I also got any discounts that were available at the time along with my military discount.
Invoice is what they pay for the truck. Minus any factory...
