Have you tried to manually pull them out?
I am not 100% sure but I dont think there is a power extend on 24s and up.
Mine just slide out.... like you are trying to pull it off the door.
I put 24K miles on the transforce crap. I never rotated them for the same reason you state. They SUCKED on wet roads.
Were pretty damned good on dry roads though.
I was in the market and doing research when I traded it in.
I also drag a 5th wheel around. I am full time in mine. Remote work...
Ok, On my 2022 I had the gain set at 7.5 and it was perfect for my driving.
On my 2024 I have it set at 10 and it feels inadequate.
I drag a 13Klb 5th wheel all over full time. I spend anywhere from 2 weeks to a month at one place.
Except I usually spend about 6 weeks or so on a friends...
I would be happy with that.
I am doing 8-8.5 in stop and go..... the same as towing 13.5K
On longer drives I can squeeze 14-15 going about 75.
4:10 rears
I finally got a place to take a pic of the new setup.
It looks much better than the silver truck.
Been thinking about breaking up the solid white and seeing this, I may have an idea now.
This truck is the same specs as you have.
The 5th Wheel is about 13,500 loaded as I need it (100 gal of fresh H2O, all my work stuff, etc..)
My MT truck weight (but full of my **** and full of 50 gal. of fuel) was 7700 lbs.
It pulled pretty well. Stopped pretty well. Got decent mpg too...
Here is my opinion on "adaptive cruise control"
Interstate travel, it is junk. Like I said in my previous post, you have ONE job when driving. I use cruise control mainly to stay at a certain pace. Fuel mileage is the primary goal.
It does also help a bit mentally and physically. Set it and...
I agree.
Having held a steering wheel for approx 3 million miles, lane assist is for the mentally challenged commuter.
You have one job when driving, and that is...... you guessed it, DRIVING.
This was the 2022 and yes, I was stuck like Chuck.
This is unstuck.
I am hoping to get out of this 5 month long camping spot in the next day or two. I can get a good pic of the new truck with this RV
I grew up a Brat.
Both Mom and Dad were Navy, Grampa was Army, Brother was a Jarhead. Most of my family was .mil or civil service.
My ears are defective from the MFG (OEM) and kept me from being a Jarhead.
I cant in good conscience put that on my truck.
Having an "I love Marines" sticker...
