Just an UPDATE on my starting issues regarding the seating of the Starter Solenoid Relay Fuse. It's now been several weeks since I completed this task. As of today I have had "ZERO" issues starting my truck several times on a daily bases. It's been sub zero temperatures in my area for the last couple weeks and my truck has sat in the elements without being started. Yesterday I decided to check my battery monitor and it showed "Battery Charge" was at about 63%. I was going to hook up my battery charger, but decided to see if the truck would start first. Truck started up immediately! In my humble opinion I believe I may have diagnosed my starting issues. I suspect the subzero temperatures may be the direct cause of my recent battery drain....Metal clips to shrink and not make contact with fuse? Thermal expansion is so small especially at these temperature gradients and fuse tab sizes........I think this theory is incorrect.
I feel the whole fuse not being seated completely causing these electrical issues is ********.
