Sometimes it’s almost better to let the truck sit disconnected for a bit(30 mins or so) than to try to hurry and get a new battery back in and connected. It can be nerve racking with all the electronics our vehicles have these days.

Is that latch mechanism something you could update I wonder? I use the CompassConnect app for the 5er too but wouldn’t like to have to depend on it lol. It’s glitchy.

There are several versions of Lippert frame(s). I own a 150 series GD(think light-er) and the only approved replacement for the crappy Lippert/Curt Turning Point pin box is the Gen-Y Executive. Sucks for us.

Benderson (developer/owner) unlimited member here too. Have to time it right as you can spend some serious time in those lines. I like 20:45, just before they close or 7:00 when they open. Most times the truck looks good.

Not opposed to the idea and have run/do run them on other vehicles. Are you seeing something alarming at 55k that warrants the installation of a can? May help others if you do see something.
