    68RFE shifting feel

Mines not real firm at all, it kinda lazy shifts with a flair at the end and is very quick to get to 6th. Supposedly it’s like that to “protect” the transmission with a partial converter lock shift strategy. I do get firm down shift shifts with the EB on and the shift points are a little later...

What did you do TO your RAM today?

Trucks in the shop, when I get it back I’ll snap a picture. This picture is from the morimoto website, right in the middle where the reverse lights are it’s clear and there is a strip that lights up red with the brakes applied.

What did you do TO your RAM today?

Swapped out the red lens tail lights for some smoked morimoto tail lights. The reverse lights on these are much brighter than the old incandescent I had, plus now they match the stock 3rd brake light.

    FML Wednesday : P2459

@superjoe83 so I guess since there is a check engine light on it won’t go into a soot based Regen? Or will it? Debating on going and picking up my camper.

    FML Wednesday : P2459

Anyone have any idea how many times I can clear this code before I get a derate? First one popped this morning, yes I’m aware of the TSB for this and my truck falls into that time frame, will be calling the dealer as soon as they open but right now my TT is 1 1/2 hrs from me and was getting some...

    Sport Hood

Can you physically close that gap with your hand by pushing up on it? If so, slide you a piece of double sided trim tape in there and press it together.

    Would you lift it?

IMHO, warranty is a crap shoot. Some folks are heavily modified and their dealer does warranty work without question, some are stock as can be and the dealer/stellantis finds a reason to deny the warranty. If that’s what you want to do, then do it. I think if you don’t abuse your truck, you’ll...

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

I bought both, the regular Fleetguard I’ve been running and the updated mopar. I should have them both Thursday. Edit: I’m gonna try em both, although the new filter I just swapped in was my usual Fleetguard, I’m gonna try another one. Hopefully I get some relief with one of those. I will update.

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

That filter has glue strips in the picture at Geno’s, wonder if RAM decided it wasn’t glue strips causing issues but the oiling causing issues?

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

I am kicking myself for not holding onto the air filter from this last service. Honestly I could have waited to change it as it clearly had more life, it’s just easier to keep up with to do it all at once. I’ll have to go look at mine when I get off of work but I wanna say the Fleetguard filter...

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

What made you change that sensor? Is that the one that reads the barometric pressure? We live in the same climate and mine is at 29.5 most of the time. When a cold front comes through it might say 29.8 but doesn’t move other than that. What does yours read?

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

I’m running the same Fleetguard filter, same one that I purchased from Geno’s every service. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the MAF from china, that was one of the things I looked at. I just ordered another air filter from Geno’s ( the fleet guard ), maybe the one I got is over oiled and is causing a...

    6.7 Engine Air Filter Confusion

Actually yes, before it jumped into an active Regen, the temp @ aft Dpf was at around 750 degrees, more than enough for a good passive regen and soot levels continued to climb. I run archoil every tank and even just hitting the high way empty, up until last week, passive has not been an issue...
