I have a 2018 in the shop now for a new transmission at 74k miles. I'd avoid. Particularly since Ram can't tell me when they can actually get a replacement.

Mine definately does it. Mine isn't that loud though. If my door is closed and windows rolled up, I can't hear it.

Not sure what brand it is. It was on the truck when I bought it.

Bought a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman a few weeks ago. First Ram since my 1997 Dodge Ram. Hoping this experience will be better than the previous one.

I'm pretty happy with mine.

It is my understanding that when that light is going off, the trailer brake controller also doesn't work. So not sure I would want to tow with it still popping it up.
