Just a observation on air flow for helping to cool the engine. I recently took the front air dam off the PW and installed a SDHQ front skid plate in its place. I noticed that the hood has more flutter to it now when driving on the freeway at 80 mph. It seems the skid plate with its open plate...
I have the 8 position Vostich on my Jeep and like it. Very clean setup. Early March I am told for the Power Wagon available one. I am getting mine through Rebel Off Road.
I have a 8 position handle switch in the Jeep. If they have a 8 position I will get it otherwise I will get the 4 position. Thanks for the find, not trying to hijack your thread. Voswitch was sold out but I guess Rebel off road had some.
Installed SDHQ front skid plate. A subframe that gets bolted to the spot where the snow plow brackets were. Removal of the front plastic valance and the skid plate bolts to the bottom of front bumper and the provided skid sub frame. The skid plate is aluminum 3/16th that I had powder coated...
I took a trip in Southern Nevada yesterday along the Carp/Elgin road off I15 (54 miles dirt) then highway 12 to Caliente. Easy trip and great scenery from wide open spaces to narrow canyon with train tunnels.
i would consider one if I were going to do a overland build with light weight camper like a dirt box or alucab. I would have to add a front winch bumper and upgrade the suspension and add all the Dethloff skid plates so that could be an easy 15K without the camper.
