I finally got it to the dealer for a brake software reflash that was on recall. No problems found and this is the first time I had it back to the dealer and it was only for the recall. I figure this is a isolated incident and am not going to worry about it any farther.
I am updating this because Metal CLoak is having a 25% off sale in April 2026 on Ram suspension parts. Rear springs that offer a heavier weight rating for our PW $269 for the 4.5 + inch rear springs and $299 for the 3.5 inch and shipping is free. This will net a 2 or 3 inch lift in the rear on...
I have never had fo back to the dealer for anything. I know there is a brake reflash recall and tailgate adjustment recall. O might have to take it back to the dealer just for the recall updates. I am not worried about. I had to do the battery disconnect several times on my Challenger Hellcar...
I was driving my PW today it started doing funny stuff. The transmission would not go above 5 the gear. At first I thought it had somehow been shifted into low range. The axle unlock button was blinking and would not stop flashing. I cycled the transfer case lever several times and all seemed to...

Dethloff MFG. announced a new rear armored bumper for the 2500/3500 Ram trucks. It adds higher rear clearance and has a modular design with a drawer for those who have relocated their spare tires. I saw the proto type a while back in his shop and this looks very strong.
Just a observation on air flow for helping to cool the engine. I recently took the front air dam off the PW and installed a SDHQ front skid plate in its place. I noticed that the hood has more flutter to it now when driving on the freeway at 80 mph. It seems the skid plate with its open plate...
I have the 8 position Vostich on my Jeep and like it. Very clean setup. Early March I am told for the Power Wagon available one. I am getting mine through Rebel Off Road.
I have a 8 position handle switch in the Jeep. If they have a 8 position I will get it otherwise I will get the 4 position. Thanks for the find, not trying to hijack your thread. Voswitch was sold out but I guess Rebel off road had some.
Installed SDHQ front skid plate. A subframe that gets bolted to the spot where the snow plow brackets were. Removal of the front plastic valance and the skid plate bolts to the bottom of front bumper and the provided skid sub frame. The skid plate is aluminum 3/16th that I had powder coated...
