I wonder what the difference is on some of these remotes sold outside of Mopar? I'm not implying they're not the same as the actual Mopar ones, but maybe they're getting them direct from who manufactures them for Mopar in order to be able to sell them at $99 plus another 10% off code? I can tell...

My 2020 Tradesman didn't have the hood latch wire. I used the instructions in this thread about accessing the gray connector under the fuse box and taking the wire to ground with a resistor. FWIW, I didn't have a 1,000 ohm resistor in my garage, but did have an 820 ohm. It's been working...
Thanks Brutal_HO for the prompt to check my app. Though I only downloaded it a few weeks ago, there was an update available. I installed the update and now my truck links properly as a 2020. I just added the mirror running light feature. I'll have to see what else is available now since my...
Aquaholic, $98 is what I paid in the parts department. Look into Bam Wholesale if the online shipping isn't too bad. The AC#, which has the same functions, has a cost of about $7 more than the AA one.
So I'm looking to add another item available in a 2020 Model Year Body Control Module, but AlfaOBD shows I'm connected to a 2016-2017. My 2500 is a 2020 and the option (mirror running lights) isn't there in the 2016-2107 menu. Anyone have a clue on what's going on or how to resolve? I'm...
I just looked at AlfaOBD on my phone, went into the 2020 BodyControl Module menu, and see it there. However, when I connect to my truck, it's telling me I'm connected to a 16-17 and that option isn't there. Weird. I'm going to check into why it's doing this.
Aquaholic, I bought it at my work, direct from Mopar. There are two part #'s to the same FOB. Part numbers are 68475385AA and 68374994AC. I think the AA was on a long backorder and AC was substituted. Cost about $98.
Yarnellm, my upper / outer mirror lamps only light amber with a turn signal. Are they supposed to have a running light function as well? I didn't look at other trucks before buying the 2020 Tradesman.
Add another happy Tradesman owner with remote start and tailgate release to the list. Mopar remote $98, dealer programming of the remote ($90 unfortunately), a little time under the hood, and a little time using AlfaOBD was well worth it.
The part numbers for factory option black 2019-2021 manual fold, power adjust, and heat Mopar tow mirrors are: 68381772AD and 68381773AD . There are brackets you can add (and I did), but I've read that they're not necessary if you're willing to chance it. Those part numbers are; 68078242AA...
I ordered a new (third) key fob that has the tailgate and remote start buttons. I'll be grounding the hood wire as described and will enable the system using AlfaOBD.
My question, can I use AlfaOBD to program the new remote to the truck, or use this method found online instead of taking it to a...
