    Drop hitch size

Yes, I think 7" drop is the way to go. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

    Drop hitch size

I use the whole 7" drop most of the time, and I am at stock height. 33" tires. If I was pulling a trailer with a heavy tongue weight, I'd probably shift up a notch, but 5" drop seems like it would be too tall truck side for me. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

    Trailer Hitch Recommendations

I have the tri ball. It doesn't set off the rear parking sensors.

    Paying the Behemoth Off!

I bought my 2019 in December of 2019 on a 5 year loan. I started out paying extra every month in the hopes that I'd pay it off in 4 years instead of 5. Then I got laid off during covid and had to skip a few payments. When I started working again at a new job with better pay, I've been making a...

Which soft tri-fold tonneau do you guys like?

I have the Gator. I bought it shortly after I got my truck. I bought it expecting not to like it. ( I was leaning toward a hard tri fold specifically the Bakflip MX4, but I wasn't sure I'd like that either so I went with the Gator, as it was much less expensive) Now that I've been using it for a...

    I actually like my truck.

I also love my truck. It pulls this camper with ease.

Are the Transforce AT tires THAT bad?

When my truck was parked at the dealer, they had it on some grass instead of on the paved lot. Though it was December, the ground was not entirely frozen yet. It 2wd it struggled to get through that grass, spraying mud behind it like crazy. I took off those factory transforce tires asap, and was...

    New 2500 owner - Contemplating 17s vs 18s

My tradesman came with 17" steel wheels. I didn't care for the look, size, or feel of them especially with the factory firestone tires. I immediately bought a set of these Ultra Crusher wheels (though I went with 18" with 33" Tires (Michelin LTX AT2) and have been happy with them.) I considered...

    ACC / RUN Timeout?

In my 2019, if you leave it on ACC/RUN, it will turn off after 30 minutes. I don't know if there is any separate low voltage disconnect, and I haven't tried locking the truck while it is in ACC mode.

Roll Up Tonneau Covers - Does More Money Equal a Better Cover?

I spent some time wringing my hands over this same thing when I got my Ram. Once I decided not to go with a fiberglass cap, I decided a Gator ETX soft tri fold. (I thought I wanted a hard tri fold, but the soft was about $300 less than the hard...) I figured for about $200 if it didn't last, or...

    Mileage before first oil change

I did my first at 5K, and will plan on 7k subsequently. Mobil 1 full synthetic meets all the required specs. I have found it on sale at Costco before. Hoping it goes on sale again soon so I can stock up.

    Your truck's first time

I play in a band, and we sometimes practice at my place. I have a nice heated & cooled detached garage where I park my Ram, and have band equipment set up. I normally pull the truck out of the garage when we practice, so we have more space. When I am practicing by myself, I don't usually move...

    Key Fob “mod”?

I don't have an answer, but I feel your pain. I would normally keep my keys in my pocket, but the fob is so unnecessarily big it is like having a brick in my pocket. Also, seems like every time I bend over with the keys in my pocket, it triggers the panic alarm. I don't have a remote start, but...

    Parking Sensors won’t turn off

I have only the rear sensors. They seem to have a mind of their own. They beep when nothing is there, and sometimes don't beep when something is. I turn them off and still get beeps. I certainly don't trust them for anything. They were incidentally included in my truck, I never would have...
