That is true. I used the term "factory" very loosely. They are each professionally plastic wrapped with the Mopar parts tags on them. I'm guessing this is just how they sell them for trucks that already had them. The kit says it does not come with a template for the holes.

These are the factory OEM flares. They fit perfect. Also this kit comes with all the skirts. Dealer removed all this and installed Bushwackers and aftermarket wheels and tires before I bought it. I went back to stock and these are what it came with originally. I did not put the skirts back...

So, the aluminum hood won't rust, but it will corrode. Chrysler had no problem covering mine under warranty.
