Yea iam from Canada, so just for example if you wanted say a base model platinum F350 with the powerstroke you'd be 130k minimum, then your about 110k for a baseline lariat (Before taxes). For a loaded up limited ram dually with the 6.7 youre looking at 120,000$ before tax, that's if you order...
I will agree with that statement!, even with just the welding bed rigged out on the truck its nice to climb hills and not have the truck downshift! It could just be a placebo effect as I've seen a few instances of people changing over in my immediate circle to HD gas, after almost 25 years of...
Yea i seriously considered deleting my 22 5500 during my def issues. Although after the service manager showed me an invoice for an engine replacement it changed my mind pretty quick. It also becomes an issue during annual safeties. For myself anyway its a huge gamble to run a truck like this...
Yes while a diesel was maybe more of an easier decision its maybe becoming a more seriously considered case by case basis. But yes as of right now diesel is 1.55$ a liter and gas is 1.11$ a liter. So essentially if you take my tank which is 196 liters i am paying 217$ for a tank of gas, and...
Good day fellas just thought id throw this up for a bit of banter and see where everyones head space is at admist these insane prices for new diesels. Ive been a pretty dedicated diesel guy since 2004 when i bought my first new GMC ext cab LB7 loaded right up, loved that truck if i remember...
Well, i decided to pull the trigger on the "known" option so went with some 255-80R17 toyo AT3's. You fellas were right! I have to say that pictures dont really do them justice in regards to the massive difference they actually make visually versus stock. As far as i am concerned they fit...
After all the reading I've done it really seems like the 255-80 is the best option for an E rated tire. I haven't seen them in person on a truck so i suppose that's why i am hesitant wanted something just a smidge taller. The 255-85 would be nice but like you say micky Thompson is the only...
Nice! What are you running for a tire? I have a 1/2” spacer and longer studs. Iam just torn what route to go 255-80-17 or somthing similar to yours. A 10.5 wide 34 or 35 would be awesome. Id really like to go with the 285-75-17, math says there should be pleanty of gap. Although tough to tell…...
Hey fellas, so i have a 2024 limited dually for my welding rig, and need to replace these garbage nexens before our cdn winter hits. Thinking about going with the toyo AT3, a friend of mine is running 285/70R17s on his identical truck, so it really has me thinking about going with a 285/75r17 on...
Just curious if anyone has experienced this. I have a 2024 3500 chassis cab limited crew cab, absolutely love the truck has 3500KM on it. However ( i believe ) its my passenger side rear door, any sort of small bump i hit the door sounds like theres squirrels in there fighting, almost sounds...
I just traded up from a 22 5500 laramie to a 24 limited 3500 for my welding rig. Iam not sure if its apples to apples in compairison to your situation but i find the ride quality excellent with the 3500…. Even smooth. Although i may be jaded after 3 years in a 5500.
I really like the upgrades...
Good morning everyone!
Finally got my 2024 3500 limited chassis cab rigged up with the new welding deck. I have to say i am quite happy with this 2024. Subtle changes from my 2022 5500. But i do like the new mirrors, and the black headliner is really noticeable, the digital cluster is excellent...
well finally got the 24 limited home and deck installed. I have to say i am quite happy with this 24. Subtle changes between the my 22 and the 24. I really like the new mirrors and all digital cluster as well as its features. It may be there... but i have yet to find the TPMS display so maybe...
maybe a touch off topic. Does anyone know if the 3500 drw's come with Tire pressure monitoring ? specifically the 3500 cab and chassis. I assume they do as i believe they were a standard thing. I know that the 45/5500s dont.
