    Temp gauge redlines while towing

So it isn’t really getting hot, the engine that is. Maybe the sensor is… I had a truck with a bent valve spring that would heat the cylinder head temp sensor crazy fast, it indicated engine temp, when revving and then cool it within seconds when not. The problem would manifest only when pulling...

    Temp gauge redlines while towing

How long does it take to supposedly cool off…impossibly fast?

Bought a used IH ambulance. Now what?

Does it still have the sirens?

    Powerwagon with Cummins

Should make a 1/2 ton PW, keep it as simple/base as possible. Minimum plush, absent most gizmos, screens and electronics, low gears and 33s…lockers, skids, lift, winch…

Might win an auction for this ambulance. Then what?

Find out if the rear axle can be locked or if a locker is available. If so it will get into plenty of cool places.

    What do you think.....

My buddy’s literally won’t make it from gas pump to pump when heading north out of here and pulling his little travel trailer, has to carry cans.

    Sumo Bump Stops

Sumos in the front won’t have much to do with towing.

    What do you think.....

    That would suck.

2022 2500 6.4l blows top radiator hose when towing

New hose, new clamps and new radiator cap. Make sure the overflow hose and associated aren’t blocked.

    Wheel Bearings??

The 2500…~35k The Titan, just over 200k work/city miles mostly. Rode hard and put away wet, always.

    Wheel Bearings??

I haven’t wheel bearing-ed the 2500 yet, thankfully. The Titan work truck ate some hub assemblies quick after the factory eventually failed, Autozone and O’Reillys. Put Moogs on it and has been a good while with no trouble.

2019 Power Wagon suspension has become “floaty”

Yeah, I had Thuren front and rear in the cart. The extra work involved with the rear, being uncertain that the wallowing was track bar related, that the Rough Country bars were over the counter here and a ton cheaper..went that way, probably shouldn’t have. FWIW…my issue was a feeling that the...

2019 Power Wagon suspension has become “floaty”

I couldn’t tell except for experiencing the wallowing/floating that guys describe when their bars are shot and the same that is supposedly eliminated by replacing with better aftermarket. Replacing mine with new stopped it 95%, so assuming mine were not great.

2019 Power Wagon suspension has become “floaty”

Mine got “floaty” at around 35k miles, the last 22k or so were mine. It became dang floaty this hunting season. The previous owner was a realty company that used it driving folks to houses, I have used it hard off road and it is almost always above payload when doing that. Strange that the float...
