Power Wagon v. Diesel Fuel Costs

Where I am the prices are about 33-35% higher for Diesel and I use about that additional amount running 87 in my wagon. Fuel costs for me are a wash but it cost less to maintain and I don't have the emissions hanging over my head like I did with my last two trucks (both were flawless but maybe I...

Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

Whatever rub you get will be very very minor, you can trim but you don’t need to. you will not rub on the control arms. I‘m running the pin top with AEV wheels and I’m not going to trim. Thought I would but it’s really not an issue.

Cold Air Intake and MPG Calibration Question

There are a few options for Speedometer calibration. AEV makes one, the AlphOBD and Ram Tazer. I did a Tazer and it been flawless but is probably the most expensive option. While you’re in there reprogram your TPMS psi as 65 or whatever is silly for this truck.

    Lift Kit

I have the Pintop with the 2.0 rears but kept my Articulink radius arms, didn’t do the ball joints as my truck only had 9k on it and also kept my sway bar. I did do upper and lower steering stabilizers and diff bash guard. Did the 2.0 springs because I’m adding a Super Pacific camper end of the...

True ground clearance with 35's and 37's

My Carli front diff cover is just over 10" with Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ 37" tires. Frame sits at 22" with Carli Pin-top.

2022 power wagon 37 tire advise

I'm running AEV wheels with MT Baja Legend MTZs in 37 which are basically the same tire. Some rub near the pinch weld on both fronts with stock suspension but not enough to really bother me. Less with the Carli lift installed but did hear a very minor rub when I had it out on Sunday. I'm liking...

Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

One thing to think about is the backup camera when deciding if you want to run the Rigd. I didn't want to spend the money on a second camera for the 360 surround and it's now mounted on the Rigd Mega. I could change it back but it's not a quick swap as you need to take the tailgate apart, etc...

AEV Katla Wheels and brake clearance issues

Same issue with AEV wheels on my 21, they ended up putting hammer on wheel weights and all is good with 37s. No issues with the TPMS that I heard about and they all work fine.

Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

37" Micky Thompson Baja Legend MTZ on AEVs, Carli Pintop suspension with R2 rear springs. I'll be adding a Super Pacific X1 end of the summer so it's sitting a bit higher in back than it will be when done. Also have a Rig'd Ultra Swing Mega going on soon but not pictured.

2022 power wagon 37 tire advise

And you still get rub with AEV and the 37s I have. it’s minor with stock suspension but it’s there. I’m on MT Baja Legend MTZ which are 36.8 per the spec. Not trimming until suspension goes in next week, then I’ll decide.

    PW ride quality?

I've owned a few trucks and the PW rides better than the last two but that's not saying much. Compared to a SRW 3500 cummins and a DRW 3500 cummins it's smooth as silk. Compared to a 2012 F150 it's not as soft. I prefer the ride on my PW to the diesel Jeep WU my wife drives as well.

Molten Orange 2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagons Are Now Arriving At Dealers:

Not new to HD rams but new to the Power Wagon family. Looked At both the Anvil and the Orange and Molten Orange was the one. May have felt different if the Anvil was two-tone but it was mono and wasn’t quite what I wanted. The interior really complements the color IMO.
