I see your issue now. I'm only 5'9" and don't seem to have that problem... I forgot about being able to adjust the pedals.
As far as rattles go. Most of these higher line vehicles have electronic tilt & telescope columns and that is where rattles can come from. Probably wouldn't be a problem...

Being in the steering column development business (for 12 years so far) I can say that a telescoping column will only add more complexity to it and be another source of rattling. It sounds like you use your truck as "a truck" and don't baby it. You might not want anything else to cause...
You're not wrong. I got stuck with my '05 1500 on some slippery (flat) mud. It was a compacted surface and the tires were completely useless. Which is odd to me because I always say how good those Michelins are on ice :rolleyes:
Granted mine is only a gasser, but at least once a week while driving 75~80 mph I say to myself "damn this thing is smooth and quiet". My wife has a 2018 caravan with 98,000 miles and all new suspension... it rattles and is noiser than my truck :p. If the next set of tires is more quiet than...
I think your post will get more traction for something like this if you post a couple photo's. There might be some people on here not familiar with what you're talking about. Just my $.02 :cool:
I've been tracking my maintenance on carfax so hopefully they'll trust that if I have an issue. I'm not paying the dealer for any work I can do myself (which is pretty much anything mechanical.)
