I have a ‘22 and am getting about 13 mpg towing a 6,000 lbs trailer.

There weren’t any unusual lights or messages on the display so I doubt it, but next time this occurs I’m definitely going to pay closer attention.

I may ask my dealer. Not sure though since it’s so intermittent, but it does seem like this is a thing since at least one other person with the same transmission has had the issue.

D This is the same as my situation. I was moving the truck from one spot to another in the driveway. Do you recall if your door was open or ajar?

Wow ok, I don’t recall having the door opened but it is possible. If it happens again, I’ll check that.

This is a standard output Cummins so I think that is the 68RFE transmission.

I have a 2022 Cummins. A handful of times, I’ve put the truck in reverse and hit the gas expecting to move, but the truck just revs like it is in park or neutral. The dash indicates I’m in “R”. Shifting back to park and then to reverse clears this up. I’m assuming this is not normal...

It’s really terrible. Nobody likes to be blinded in a vehicle.

This does seem like something a software update should provide assuming the hardware is the same in older models.

Are these 2023 only settings?
