New to me 7 months ago first time just now - she didn't start
nothing but perfect performance up until now
sounded like the starter was engaging but didn't have strength to turn
Tried several times got a jump from a friend started right up first try...

I'm noticing now that's what it does with no trailer & a light load in the bed (1,000 lb) - on EB auto,
oops, wait a minute - it's E braking me when I'm going downhill from a bridge, maybe 15% grade
I'll just give her the best maintenance I can and let...
With our old diesel I always used the brakes as little as possible to help fuel mileage - downshift - no EB

Exactly right & was I glad to learn that ! - first time replacing filters on this truck & one time I didn't go under the truck myself -
Turns out he just used Seafoam to wash the cap !

Thank you Ram bros - Good thing these things are tough, a guy working with me had already filled the rear frame filter w/ Seafoam & I ran it up the road 10 miles before I saw these posts - I would have drained it first if I'd have known.

I'm changing the fuel filter and the water separator on a 22 Ram 2500 6.7, 68RFE, first time since I bought it with 54k miles 3 1/2 months ago, 63,814 mi now, work truck miles.
Anyone have thoughts on filling the new filter with Stanadyne injector cleaner ?
I used to do stuff like that...
