I used the Airlift 1000HD helper bags on my 1500 and they certainly helped a bit, but there is nothing like that for the 2500's. I think for the price, I am leaning toward the Timber Grove bags if I get them at all.
Thank you all for the feedback. I will look into the Timber Grove bags. Do any of you know if they come with the airline, fittings, and valves? I assume it is all included, but the website doesn't really say.
So I upgraded from a '21 RAM 1500 to my '24 2500 Bighorn to make towing our TT more comfortable and less taxing. We have a 28" 6000lb trailer and the 2500 tows it without issue, but I feel that the load might feel more balanced with some air bags. I have been looking at the Rough Country airbags...
I have the same tongue scale and use it every time we hookup the TT for a campout (after loading everything). Worth every penny (which is not a lot :))
I actually purchased those as well, but have not tried them yet. I am cool with the way I have it setup right now, so I figure I will keep them in the truck so others can plug in, and not connect to my AA, when they need to charge.
I purchased the PortaPow USB C data blocker cables you linked, but they did not work for me. They blocked the data, but my chargers would not charge or get ANY power when plugged into them. Have a feeling that was because the data blockers are not compatible with quality cables that support...
Nothing too exciting. I will eventually add a Tonneau Cover and air bags in the rear. To date I have done the following:
- Decals
- Added deployable bed step
- DeeZee tailgate assist
- BullyDog throttle controller
- Course Motorsport MagSafe phone mounts (driver and passenger)
- Screen protector
Ok, I finally got some pics of my new 2500. Nothing super special, but it is mine and I love it. So far I have only added a few things including:
- DeeZee Tailgate assist
- Deployable bed step
- Bully Dog Throttle controller
- Course Motorsports Magsafe charging phone mounts
- Screen Protector...
I would just go to amazon and find an Android tablet. I see them from like $60 and up. Any of them should work, though some might be a bit faster than others. Even if you go with a Samsung A9+ it is only $169, but you don't really need that just for AlfaOBD.
I am not near my truck to find the setting for you, but I found it while going through the settings menus when I first got the truck about a month ago. I have it turned on in my '24 2500 Big Horn.
