Would I rather it get better mileage, sure. Do I care, not really. I've had GM's and Ford's and neither of those trucks had an exhaust note as healthy as this truck (yes, I do have an aftermarket muffler on it). And for a big truck, it handles and rides very well. It is also more comfortable too.
I put a solo performance MR400 on last week. I like it. If you get in it, it's pretty lively. Just normal driving it rumbles. At highway speeds (55-60) it has a very slight drone to it. Above 60 it is quiet.
I just installed the Solo Performance MR 400. Nice rumble and not loud while cruising. Very little drone around 58-61 and none at speeds above. It is loud if you get into though but it sounds right to me.
Can someone please give me some suggestions on removing the stock muffler on a ‘20 2500? I’m trying to install a solo performance muffler but I can’t get the stock one off!!! Lol
If I put my fan speed on any speed lower than 5 on a hot day, it is pointless. Once the cab is cooled down, I can sometimes lower it to 4. To me the fan speed has too much of a percentage increase/drop between speeds. Also, my defroster leaks air by, the windshield condenses in the mornings and...
I agree that the 2-3 shift just sucks. My A/C only gets to 56*-58* out of the vent. It was 45* the other day and I had the A/C on max cool and it took a pretty long time before I even felt that I needed to adjust the temperature up.
