I hadn't seen your description before, but am super happy to read it now. Much better than the owner's manual.
Can you elaborate on the difference between "Bed Lowering Mode" and "Transport Mode"?
Agreed. No way are they correcting this or any of the other little quirks that come in the pre-25 digital dash.
* Oil temp gauge does not have the blue ring
* Trans temp not available in Tiles screen (diesel only, I believe)
* Trailer odometer stops counting at 9978.2
My trailer miles should have passed that number a couple days ago, but I haven't checked since. I'll give it a look by the end of the week and report back.
Most of us don't have the coin to fight a multi-billion dollar conglomerate who produces **** trucks, so we're forced to ***** foot around and talk nice to all the little people in hopes maybe we'll get some charity.
To the OP I say F Yah, go get 'em! (If you're not BSing us)
Drained and filled the Aisin fluid IAW the manual today. 7.5 quarts came out, so 7.5 went back in.
But man, I found it difficult to read the dipstick after the fill to confirm all was good.
Drove the truck till trans temp was steady at 162. Let truck sit for a minute. Shift to R, N, D...
I've come to believe undercoatings aren't worth the cost.
What I believe is a must is a hot, thorough cleaning with fresh water every spring once salting is done.
Yup, ditto everyone else's comments. I aligned to the Thuren specs (basically no toe) and seem to be good since. Currently have 24,000 on the original firestones.
I've seen it glitch like this once or twice. Requires me to power off the truck in order to get it to reset.
99% of the time, when I hit the okay button, the screen goes away, the dash looks as it should, and the blindspot monitoring goes to the correct setting.
This is my first fifth wheel, so I have no real frame of reference, but......
I'm not sure I'm completely satisfied with my GenY fifth wheel kingpin hitch. We've had fit and finish issues. GenY was fine to work with, but the issues were resolved with my home-repaired remedy, so overall a bit...
Every light on my camper is LED, including all the rears. Light checks have always worked. Also, I occasionally tow a boat trailer with all LED lights, and the light check works on that trailer too. Both trailers were purchased in 2024.
I hate driving my dually unloaded around town, which is honestly most of the driving it does. 21,000 miles on the odometer of which 8,000 is towing. You pull the rig to your destination, then spend all your time unhooked and exploring or whatever.
The DRW long bed is just so stinking big...
