    2019 Truck cap/topper/camper shell thread

I got word that my RSI SMartCap arrives next Tuesday. I ordered in the end of April. Apparently new orders are now arriving in end of Nov. Its crazy out there. I can't wait to get this cap mounted and see if it fits with my AEV Vertical Spare Tire mount.

    2019 Truck cap/topper/camper shell thread

Great looking truck and cap! I have a EVO Sport on order and have a question. I'm going to mount an AEV Vertical Tire mount for my 40" Toyo spare. Is there enough vertical height at the cab end of the cap for that? Thanks if you're able to measure!!

    Dechroming a Laramie - a short story

Yes, I'd like to trade for black in the same trim level. But thank you for the offer! Plus it would be tough to have to wait for mirrors to ship while driving around. The CHP would light me up for sure! :)

    Dechroming a Laramie - a short story

Yes, mine are chrome, power folding, powered convex and no 360 camera. I will receive the truck around the end of May/beginning of June. AEV is doing my PXL build now. Where are you located? I'm in Northern CA (Bay Area)

I like Chrome, but this Longhorn Front is a Bit Much

Your dip job turned out so well! I"m looking to do the same and will have the same bumper (AEV is building my PXL). Did you dip the grille and trim in place or remove it? Looks awesome! How many cans did you use? I've got 5, hoping that's enough? Thanks!

    Dechroming a Laramie - a short story

Hi again, @dragon_ram Just came across this thread. Nice job dipping your mirrors. I'll be doing the same. Any tips for success? I assume you dipped them in the upright position? Thanks!
