It depends on if you are just swapping the bulb or going full tail light assembly swap. Most full swaps (aftermarket) are plug and play these days. But a simple bulb swap, you need either a resistor or the resistor splice that some people sell. The resistor "shouldn't" be needed with Alfa.
I guess all the truckers out here are slow to catch on or they just left their antennas on their rigs. Or maybe my old military buddy is just behind the times.
Going from my 09 Ram and 15 Durango with normal mirrors (traded the Durango in on the 2500), it took a little getting used to. Could always "ghost trailer" it ;)
