Well, saga continues. Driving down the road, NO trailer hauling or connected and trailer connected light pops on. WTF? On dash panel, I get an error message "service trailer brake system. What could possibly else go wrong with this truck? 3000 miles and looks like trip #5 to dealer.

Yeah, all fixed after 3 trips, almost 400 round trip miles and 15.5 hours sitting at dealer to get fixed. ITCM was bad and replaced but they also found a pin or 2 loose that connects to ITCM. Either way, works perfect as should...no more pulsating trailer lights and my cluster now recognizes a...
Yes, analog gauges does fluctuate on my 2025 big horn. Some days, it'll show 3/4 full, next day maybe 7/8 full and anywhere in between on diff days. The electronic cluster gauge, if toggling through the screen is your DPF, not DEF. If zero, then it's clean. Mine will go as high as 30% then...
Read about it going through my trailer module issues that someone said check your fuses and make sure it was seated all the way. Well, not only the trailer fuse but EVERY fuse in the panel were not seated and pushing in all the way. Every stinkin' one
I will concur with HarryN estimate. Just topped my def off. That's 7.5 gallons of def since new and currently have 2543 miles. Roughly 339 miles per 1 gallon def. 1 passive regen and 1 active regen mixed in at the 2543 miles.
agree, never get below 3/4 tank...just in case. Was there yesterday for p2281 CEL. Known issue with the 2025s and from talking to them, software update is coming for the p2281. Never even thought of asking until I saw Mack's post this morning.
Mine fluctuates as you mention especially in that less than full to 3/4 full range. 1 day needle will be at 3/4 on Big Horn gauge. Day 2 it'll be at 7/8 full then few days later, drops down and back up again. Yes, very annoying.
Just got the same p2281 code last night on my 2025 with 2400 miles on it. Off to dealer again tomorrow. Trip #4 with this truck. Let me know what you find out or if used the maf cleaner.
Yes on the fuse debacle. Ran into a diff problem towing my boat. Boat trailer led lights were flickering/pulsating and after 3 trips, full tank of diesel, 354 miles round trips and 15.5 hours of my life I'll never get back, ITCM was bad( let's not bring up that nightmare). During the self...
Purchased new in August and currently has 2417 miles on it. From previous posts, 1st regen was around 1000 miles but there's no indicator that it was in regen, went through regen, only indicator was dpf gauge back to zero. Again, when that happened, no clue. Just recently, toggled through...
Just an updated...round 2 to same dealer on 8/11. 3 hours later, engineers advised service tech it's the ITCM. No crap, told them on first service trip but they decided to reflash ECM 1st to see if that would fix it. Of course, it did not. Now it's gonna take a 3rd trip to same dealer since...
Step ahead. Got a case #, called last night and called again this morning and they closed the case based upon me leaving the dealer yesterday. I told them "WTF?". You don't believe me it's not fixed and you close a case based upon me leaving the dealer even though I immediately walked back...
