I installed the sumo springs last week and they drive fine unloaded. I’m aware of them on some bumps but I’m so new to the 2500 suspension I honestly can’t tell if it’s the bumps or just the HD suspension.
But I am a sucker for a little trial and error...
I had airlift 1000’s on my gladiator and ran the lines so the fill point was inside my fuel tank fill area. Kept the valve clean and out of the weather at all times.
Its a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you dont. The 27s may have some new update/upgrade that turns into a shat show and makes you wish you stuck with the issues you were aware of with a 26 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think his tim’s point in the video is sound. They “could” but they’re already synonymous.
I get they’re that way because they were originally under one brand, but at the end of the day it wouldn’t drive up business or improve the company in any real way. im honestly not bothered by them...
Installed the sumos springs
The jury is still out if these will make any difference whatsoever when it comes to putting the golf cart in the bed and adding the 800 pound tongue of the camper.
I took them out for a test drive and really gave it some juice going over bumps to try and see if they...
LineX liner done, and got the tonneau on. The Tonneau is TIGHT..had to kinda force it to latch. But i’m chalking that up to it being in the 30s outside. I’m sure it will fit a little better once it’s warmer out and the leather can stretch in the sun.
I hear you 100% on this, i’m just a sucker for some trial and error and experimenting
Like I said in an earlier post I ended up getting a set of sumo‘s at a great discount so they are sitting in the garage right now for me to mess with.
Ive started looking more at the bags and what all that...
Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer
No real reason other than I can,
And when i did the same upgrade to my gladiator it made a substantial improvement in steering feel.
Ill see today when i head out to get my bed liner done. I had the dealership throw it in as part of the deal.
FWIW
i’ve confirmed with the company that makes boogie bumps that you are able to trim them down just like you are with the sumo springs.
The boogie bumps suggest raising the truck 1/2 inch to install the LCS (load control system) bumps, which are the larger ones. That tells me they are...
Ritchie…second time youve thrown out that these things are “gimmicks” i really appreciate that your TT is similar in weight to mine and I hope I have the same experience as you. Especially given your heavy pin weight since my main concern is having a golf cart in the bed now. However, some of us...
