The heaviest thing I'll ever tow is my show car Civic. Thing weighs like 2200lbs.
I got the diesel because I wanted it, I make no excuses for needing it lol.
Stock suspension on 37s? I don't see that happening. I'm on 37s on +18 with a 2.5 carli spring and I will rub at near full lock hitting a bump on the sway bar. Maybe you clear the sway bar with your lower offset but I think you're gonna be hitting on the outside, especially flexing.
What leveling "kit" do you have? If it's a spacer, id start by getting rid of that. Also, 45 cold psi might still be a little high.
If you want a drastic improvement you'll have to spend some money. I'd get the Carli back country level but they have a slightly cheaper shock option too. Thuren...
Did you just go to the dealer and tell them, "align to Thuren specs?" Or did you give them the printout? Have you verified the after alignment specs of any of your alignments against the Thuren specs?
If not, get a good shop to actually align it to the Thuren specs as was previously stated. If...
My truck is a tradesman short bed with nothing permanently installed on it, all things considered it's probably on the lighter side for our trucks. I've been loving the carli back country's. I daily drive the truck and it's been great. Only little issue is it's a pain to seat the drivers side...
My tradesman won't turn the lights off normally either because the truck uses them as DRLs. I'm pretty sure you have to go into the infotainment settings and turn DRLs off, then it will work with the knob.
You'd need to post your window sticker/build and what state taxes you're paying if you want out the door. Just from a glance it seems 70k to be a little high for a 2025 now. I'd assume you could order what you want on a newer model year for cheaper from MD, Koons, Granger etc.
I've got a little over 5k on my '25 Tradesman CTD so far, been great. Couple weeks ago it gives me the ACC unavailable and requires service when I try to use the adaptive cruise but the regular cruise works fine. Only issue I have and I'm too lazy to take it to the dealer just for that.
Going to be a lot cheaper to not take delivery of that truck and just order one with duals already.
If you are intent on keeping it, you could check JS alternators or maybe Mechman.
The Ford looks good on paper for sure but the Duramax's are still faster and make less power than both of us. This new Cummins and trans setup is plenty fast and doesn't leave me wanting.
Also, price yourself a Ram and a similar Ford. Now look what you can actually get those trucks for...
I run that brand in the grey bottle, Diesel Kleen. Recommended by Cummins and if you watch some comparison videos, it does well in lubricity and cetane. It's also readily available by me.
