    It does not make sense that it would. There is the same amount of filter media, the lack of the pleats ability to move around does not change that.

    Any that meets manufacturers specs will do. Supertech from Walmart all the way up to the boutique oils like amsoil. I went with Napa house brand as it was on sale at the store when I went in to buy that day.

    The BD solution is around $200, the banks won’t gain you anything more than a lighter wallet. There will be no hp/tq increase.
