I ordered a Chassis Unlimited front bumper on November 6th, one day after my accident. I ordered it over the phone and was told 6-8 weeks. That got pushed to 12 weeks. Now they are saying mid-late Feb. This company is ridiculous.
Oh? That sucks. I am adding a 30" LED light bar with my Chassis Unlimited bumper and wanted to run it on factory switches.
I wasn't sure what this meant.
It was pretty beat up after getting hit then me running over it. I noticed the following day that someone took the head from it. It was a pretty large buck with a nice rack.
I ordered their Diablo bumper the day after I hit the deer. Unfortunately, they have a 6-8 week lead time. I'm going to resell the new factory bumper after I take it off.
The bar itself was not damaged. However, the electronics that connect to it were, so my light is on.
I've gotten the truck back for now, and am driving it until the new Electronic Sway Bar kit comes in.
I spoke with Carli on the phone yesterday. If I use theirs, I will always have a light on the dash that is on. They don't have a way to bypass that electronic disconnect part to disable the dash light.
That's the conclusion I came to yesterday. The physical sway bar is not damaged, just the electronics. Driving it would be the same as having it turned off through the button on the dash.
I got my 2025 Power Wagon back in August, about 3 months back. Last week, I was on the highway at 4:50 AM doing 65 MPH and hit a big deer (buck). He did quite the number on my front end.
