The engine block heater for my gas engine came as an option I couldn't delete even though I got none of the other winter options. And I live in California. In one of he warm bits. And I usually didn't use one on a gas engine when I was in the cold, although I guess it will be nice.
But Ram was...
I keep having Carplay fail on my 2023.
I have it going, have connected my iPhone, and when it works it's great (I use it with Gaia GPS for offroading). But when I shut off the vehicle, and then restart, Carplay is no longer available and all the options, buttons, etc I try to get it going again...
Ah, I'll try that. I was in the sun when I did it, and unfortunately some of the Uconnect interface is rather lame, at least in my stupid hands. Thanks!
Indeed.
But my question is about the presets, which are part of the STFA app. Sorry if I was unclear.
(I do wish that if I deliberate set the pressures low the TPMS system wouldn't have a cow though. Ram recognizes we air down, so if the warning at least went off below say 25MPH it would be nice.)
Correct me if I'm wrong but with my 2023 2500 I understand the follow:
The regular TPMS system requires the tires to be within 20% of the placard values (60 and 65 on my truck). If below, like when I air down, I get the alert that stays there until I fill above it. Helpfully the truck does the...
Yes, that's what I was thinking. I am quick to blame tech, but having had to replace window switches more than once on a driver's door in the past, I should be looking first at the low tech. Thanks.
I've got a 2023 2500 Laramie with a few thousand miles.
On a recent trip I had several problems with the memory seats and the presets that store them These are the preset set with the switches in the door handle.
I first noticed mirrors were off, then seats were. But I've had it briefly lose...
On my 2023 the pad where the Daystar cradles for my Air Lift bags goes has a brake line that might be in the way. Since there's an opening into the bracket that sits on the axle, isn't the easiest thing to do to get the cradle situated, then drill a hole and bolt to it? seems enough room to...
Heh. Maybe Ram will do what Ford did and have the capability to deliver over 2kw of AC to the bed, and use that to power everything in a trailer :) I think one of the hybrids can do over 7kw, but I doubt it can tow much :)
BTW, for anyone looking at a DC to DC solution consider the Kisae...
I've got the non active parking assist thing, the one where you get beeps and an alarm if you back too close to something.
Unfortunately in my case that something can be something in the trailer hitch receiver that sticks out a bit; even a fairly short step triggers it. Not the end of the world...
Can anyone verify whether a Caril diff guard (bolts over OEM cover with new bolts) fits on a a 2023 2500? all the websites list to 2022, but I'm not aware whether it changed. Haven't heard back from the retailers. Thanks.
