You can turn it off with Alfaobd or JScan. “Unattended idle alert”. Do a search here of those threads. The steps are listed.

I set my 2023 to ”on”. Towed my camper down to the Keys for two weeks. Honked every time I got out while running. I just turned it off and the three blast alert is finally gone. No idea WHY it worked, but happy it did!

I did try it several times. Another guy with a 2023 had the same result as me. Mine was already “not set” when I got in there.

Thanks Jimmy. I tested it. Didn't help with the three honks. Looks like I am stuck with holding the fob on the door column! I forget that most of the time when it really matters. That is why it is the most hated feature!

Has anyone experimented with the JScan User adaptation “Fobik safe alerts per ignition cycle”? This seems to be related to how many times it will warn you on the fob being left in the truck. The default is 2. Thought a zero might stop it from honking when you remove it?

I did change the “unintended Idle Alert”- which was the setting he mentioned in the video- from Not Set to set. I tested and got three honks. I then changed it back to not set. It still honks. Using Jscan vs AlfaOBD, there is not an alert on/off option. Only set or not set. Any...
