As preventive maintenance you might consider replacing in the near future. I replaced my 21 batteries a few months ago. I was not having any issues and I did not have them tested. When I get 4+ years out of batteries I typically replace even if there are no issues. Then I can buy what I...
Sounds like your charging system is not adequately charging the battery as you drive it, or your truck is drawing enough current when off to drain the battery (or both). Check your terminations to make sure they are clean and snug. Seems unlikely you would get 2 new bad batteries back to back...
I had a similar event last year. Normally 24 hour regens, then all of a sudden I watched the soot level climb in short order on the interstate. It then went into a soot triggered regen at 15 hours. I had recently filled at a station I dont normally use, and suspect the fuel I got there was a...
I have a 2021 3500 with the full length factory running boards that have 3 mounting brackets. While under the truck I noticed they only installed 1 main bolt on each bracket. No issues to date, and they were tight. However, I wish they would have installed bolts in both mounting holes .
2021 3500 delivered in April that year. I live in Washington state and normally replace batteries every 4-5 years if they have not failed. This is to avoid them failing at a bad time. I would rather replace when its convenient and I can pick what I want. No issues with my OEM batteries, but...
My 21 has 24k miles and averages a little over 500 mgp with 60% towing. I add a 2.5 gallon jug when my gauge hits about 1/4. If filling with jugs, be careful not to overfill or that will cause issues due to the tank sensor not being able to get a valid reading.
I went to OBDLink website. Under support, click on your model unit, then scroll to the bottom to submit a support ticket. Explain your situation and what the unit is doing, even after attempting to reset. You can also attach a file. I submitted a short video clip of the lights.
These units...
Bummer. My original MX+ did not work either. All of the indicator lights were illuminated, and it would not connect. I contacted customer service and they were great. Sent a new one out and no issues with it. Maybe contact customer service and tell them what happened. They might do...
I leave my MX+ plugged in all the time with no battery issues, even if the truck sits for a week or two. You might consider the MX+ if you get tired of repeatedly installing/removing it. It's a tight fit and sort of a pain due to the location. I vote for the crusher, haha.
Sleep mode characteristics regarding power draw were one of the reasons I shied away from BlueDriver and went with OBDLink MX+.

My 2021 3500 Laramie with the "leather" seats did the same thing once they started getting used. It has not really changed much since I first noticed it shortly after I bought the truck (now at 22k). I consider it normal.
I use obd mx+ and there is a standard SAE PID for commanded DEF dosing (%). I also found 3 different PIDs for DEF tank level. One is a standard SAE PID, and two are Ram unique. I tried all three, but can't remember if they all worked. They may work different under the cold weather condition...
If you can't find any obvious leak areas, keep your eye on it once you have dried it out. If you don't notice this happening once the weather gets back to normal (moderate temps and rain), that would point to condensation. You mentioned the whole roof was covered with moisture, which would...
That first picture sure looks like condensation. I could see that happening if the roof is in direct sun during the day, followed by the cold nighttime temps we have recently experienced. I live in Snohomish, but my truck is a garage queen when not in use.
