Wow. 3 hours. You definitely went through a lot more than I did installing mine. I didn't lower the headliner or remove any side panels. I just tucked the wire in along the seams between the upholstery and panels along the driver's side.
Good choice on replacing the micro SD card. The card...
Which factory stereo? Mine is the HK system. I haven’t done base and treble up high and mids down a few notches from zero. It’s certainly not overly bassy like that in my truck.
Geno's garage has them as well. I got from them for my '24. Looks to be the same for the '26.

Yeah, the up charge for Night Edition is pretty steep. That said, I did get my truck with the Night Edition. Main things I liked about it were the body color grill surrounds, lack of chrome on the rear mirrors, and the hood. But still, pretty pricy.
Just bought a new car for the wife this...
I was using a Redtiger F7N that I had positioned just to the right of the sensor cover. It was out of my view when driving, and did a pretty decent job. Video was pretty clear. Here's a sample video.
I wanted a cleaner look, and have another driver in the family, so the Redtiger will go to...
Yeah, sounds like something isn’t working right.
I have a ‘24 Mega cab Laramie with the 6.7 Auto, Dual zone climate controls. 12” display. I normally keep my climate settings on Auto/ Recirc. Whenever I remote start, the blowers are running before I get in and press the start/stop button...
Can’t help with the other issues, but I believe this one is a feature rather than an issue. I’m assuming you have factory navigation. The three dings is warning that the intersection you are approaching has a red light camera.
I saw the same. Was doing a few things on Saturday morning, and when I pulled into Lowes, I saw the update message. I didn't notice anything when I got back to the truck. Not sure if the software version changed. This was the first time I saw that notice, so not sure if I need to keep it on...
Yeah, I was thinking the same. My boat is about the same length, but more of an offshore fishing/diving boat. The tank in mine holds around 140 gallons.
Yeah. This will be a big factor. Your engines, fuel tank, etc are toward the rear of the trailer, so the tongue is likely light. You'll need to get weights. If there are CAT scales near you, you should take it and get it weighed. A couple passes would be needed. One with the boat hooked...
I’ve had both over the years. When I got my Ram, I went with Line-X. Seems a bit thicker than others, and is also a bit less gritty. Plenty of grip, but more comfortable on the knees.
Both Rhino and Line-X will hold up well. I’ve got a couple spearguns coated with Rhino. They’ve seen some...
Yeah, that would certainly change things. I use mine for both commuting and towing. If I wasn't towing anything, then I would not have gone for the Cummins, and would likely have a 1/2 ton.
Yeah, I guess. But that can also wash in the end, but will depend on the terms of the loan. You'll also have higher resale with the Cummins. Might not be enough to totally make it up depending on the interest rate of the loan, but it's not a straight $10K or $200/month either.
The fuel cost is likely a wash, or may actually be in favor of the diesel depending on prices in your area.
A friend and I have similar trucks. Both 2024 2500s. He has a CC with the Hemi, I have a MC with the Cummins. Our commutes are pretty similar. Fuel mileage is not. Despite mine being...
