Finally removed the last bit of chrome and swapped to led headlights. The grill emblems are color matched to the truck but depending on lighting almost look like black chrome. Been so long i forgot how to use alpha obd. Thanks to the guys posted all the settings to swap over for running led...
I drove it for a couple weeks before mounting it. With the 12.5” wide tires there was a lot of movement in the steering wheel. It still rode well but you could feel every imperfection in the road. Once adding the stabilizer and adjusting it all that went away. The truck now tracks straight and...
After adding the Carli low mount steering stabilizer it was a game changer. Id say it now rides better than stock. The tires are way quieter than i expected. Even at highway 80-85 mph they arent loud. Id say my stock tires were just as loud but they were terrible. The stuff isnt cheap but id...
Sorry i know nothing about the RC kit. I have zero rubbing at full lock either way. From what ive read this set up is good with 37x12.50 with no or just trimming the seam off the bottom of the inner fender.
Oh i wouldnt have the nerve to try poping them out. Ive heard things break if you try. I figure the grill has to come out to change headlights so ill do it all at once. Im still waiting on the lights and the nerve to pull it all apart. Lol
I just put the Carli 2.5” springs with the Carli tuned Fox 2.0 shocks on my truck. The difference in how the shocks rebound is drastic. With the shocks off the truck if you compress it the Fox can extend and compress multiple times before the stock fully extends back out. It was very noticeable...
Exactly what they are. That rubber trim was kind of annoying to get lined up. I had the paint shop color match the flares and the trim pieces and letters from front grill. Ill swap the front grill stuff some day when the black led lights show up and i get the nerve to take the front apart...
Installed oe style fender flares. Just got them back from paint and it was finally warm enough out today. Its going to rain tomorrow so the rest of the truck is still dirty.
Mine is a srw 2500 so i cant answer that. I can say with mine jumping from stock (10.5”) wide to 12.5” wide tires it was pretty instant in how it felt. Im not sure if you look at Carli’s or cjc offroad’s site they may have specific info to the drw.
Check CJC Offroad. They have custom tuned Fox 2.0’s. They may have in stock height. (Mine is leveled 2.5”) I have them with 35’s and they were noticeably smoother than stock.
I have the Nitto’s in load range F on my 2500 and would highly recommend them. For as aggressive as they look they have great road manners. Id say no louder than my stock tires at 13k miles and they are significantly better in the rain.
It may be a bit hard to describe but it was an instantly smoother feeling over stock. You can fine tune it to your truck and it dials in. Cjc offroad has a couple good videos describing it way better than me. I had about 500 miles on tire swap prior to adding it. Not a ton but enough to see a...
