I purchased the SwitchPros 9100 Module for my 2019 Power Wagon, since Power Wagons don’t get the aux switches, I’m preparing to wire it all in. I need to connect the light blue wire to an “ignition on” source, and white wire to “lights on” source(dim backlighting on keypad).
According to the ram “body builders” guide I can get an ignition on source with either the F781 or F986.
“ The F781 circuit is fed by a 10Amp fuse that feeds several modules inside the vehicle (USB Charging Port, Wireless Charging Module, and Inverter Module) and comes out of the bottom of the main power distribution center (PDC) in pin 7 connector C5.
The F986 circuit is fed by a 20A fuse and feeds the Power Outlet inside the vehicle and comes out of the bottom of of the main PDC in pin 9 of connector C7. “
Rather than tapping by one of these wires, under the PDC, can I use an add-a-circuit fuse holder on fuse 65 or fuse 91?
Any idea what fuse I can add-a-circuit to for the lights? Maybe fuse 79(clearance lights?)
