'So I am a bit lost on what is happening to my passenger side tow mirror. I have a '22 that I got in November of '21 so I have had my truck for about 1.5 years and this just started last week. I had my truck at dealership for some recalls to be fixed on Monday, took my truck home and went to work on Tuesday left working made a stop at a store where I parked and opened and closed my passenger side door. This is when the spotter/convex/lower mirror fell off. I then noticed the directional lenses was also cracked and damaged. So I assume this damaged happened either at work or at dealership. I highly doubt it happened at work because I always fold my mirrors in when I park and park in a location that would be extremely hard for someone to hit and cause damage too. Dealership was awesome and really didn't dispute the claim because I have cameras at home and work and nothing was seen that could have caused the damage. So 2 weeks later, Wednesday, dealership installs new mirror. I go home and then to work Thursday morning. When I left dealership I checked the mirror and no damage. So leaving work Thursday I notice the spotter/convex/lower mirror is cracked and on a closer look the directional lenses is also broken almost identically to the last time it was broken. Also there is no damage to the tuck or the mirror housing either.
So I am extremely confused what is going on here?! Is someone intentionally damaging my truck or is there a manufacture defect that is causing this to happen?
