Transmission Issue

My 2013 2500 5.7 Hemi 180k miles is having transmission issues in first gear. When I tow, if I manually set it to 2nd gear it works fine. It's my beater truck but I want to make it right. There is a high pitched squeal then it slips.
Any insight?

I would bring it to a transmission shop it sounds like its time for a rebuild
